Automation
The technological process control and regulation in cold and hot rolling mills works using controls that are adapted to the process to compensate for the large number of influencing factors, such as the characteristics of the actuators. Our automation systems take into account relevant influences and thereby always provide an optimum response to the current product and plant situation. This leads to an improvement in product quality and an increase in plant flexibility and productivity. Digital drive controls within the megawatt range in rolling mills are as much an integral part of our services as high-precision positioning in the micron range with screw-downs and process controls as well as sophisticated solutions with hydraulic screw-downs with thickness gauge controls and automatic stop devices.
CSE Seekamp develops individual automation concepts and drive concepts and deals with process data handling. Questions regarding power feed-in and power distribution within the plant are addressed during the project planning – for drive techniques in three-phase AC or DC technology.
